Hello and welcome to fourth grade! I have been teaching since
1987. I began my teaching career at Peoria Christian School where I taught
first grade for seven years. Being a life-long resident of Creve Coeur and an
alumnus of the district, it was always my desire to teach in Creve Coeur
District #76. When the opportunity to teach third grade in Creve Coeur opened,
I was thrilled to become a member of the teaching staff. I thoroughly enjoyed
my experience with third graders, yet I was then given the opportunity to work
with Kindergarteners. What a new insight I now have! After teaching at that
level for eight years, I was ready for a change and have come to fourth grade.
I am really enjoying teaching at this level. I am a 1987 graduate of Greenville
College where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.
Believing that learning never ends, I have continued my education by earning a
Master of Arts degree in Teaching and Leadership through St. Xavier
University.
